Click here to learn more about America’s Rainforests >>

Here you will learn more about the Rainforests you might have heard about at school, and you’ll get to have fun doing so. We’ve got three great activities for you to do with the help of a parent, teacher, or older brother, sister or friend. They are fun and easy and will help you understand how rainforests work, and why they are so important.

Before you begin, you need to find your “Helper” and have them help you get set up. It’s fast, easy and free. We just need to make sure someone knows what you’re up to.

Once your Helper is near by, you can pick on of the three activities below. When you know which one you want to start with, click on it. Then your Helper will have to fill in a couple things, and you’ll be ready to go! Have Fun!

1. Build Your Own Rain Forest >>

By creating your own rain forest, you’ll be able to experience firsthand the way this kind of ecosystem functions.

2. Make Your Own Dirt! >>

This activity will show you the importance of soil to our planet.  It will teach why maintaining a balance is important and how imbalances have consequences.

3. Save the Soil >>

This is a simple, but effective activity to help you understand what happens when soil erosion occurs.
